ADA accessible units
As required by law for owner-occupied properties with more than 5 units*, properties with 6 or more units should provide a unit that is designated for customers with disabilities. The property should clearly identify these units and describe the accessible features in sufficient detail to reasonably allow individuals with disabilities to independently assess whether the unit meets their accessibility needs. When selecting an ADA-designated unit, if you do not have accessibility or other disabilities, click the Cancel button and select another unit unless it is the last available unit. If you do not meet the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements for this unit and it is not the last available unit, BUSINESS NAME reserves the right to change your reservation to another unit without your permission in order to accommodate customers with eligible disabilities.
*Under federal law, listed at https://www.ada.gov/taman3.html, owner-occupied accommodations with 5 or fewer units are exempt from the requirement to have an ADA unit for people with disabilities. Religious organizations are exempt from Title III requirements. Historic properties may also be exempt from certain aspects of Title III requirements, but property owners must verify based on local and federal requirements.
All other properties may be subject to the requirements of Title III.
